  • Kitchen Time


    Found that I missed out one post.
    Just a simple happiness to share with you..

    I baked some cupcakes last week..
    there was no special day
    nor any event
    It was just a day to bake cake


    This is the first time I baked cake for Dear
    and It works..

    no decorations, no icing..
    cause dear just love the plain butter cupcakes..

    And of course,
    we had the cake with Wei Han's homemade coffee
    That was just perfect..


  • When you were not in


    When you were not in, I was so lonely.
    The computer sound was not around,
    songs that you normally played was not around
    Your voice was not around,
    it was just quiet..

    But luckily, I am not the only one who stays at home.
    Wei Han and I decided to have beef steaks, veges and mashed potatoes as dinner.
     

    and of course before this,
    I don't feel like staying at home.
    and co-incidentally,
    I found the craft expo
    that's the Paperific Expo @ Melbourne Showground
    This expo will be held twice a year
    so,
    for your information,
    next year expo will be on 5-7 March 2010
    I will definitely go again next year
     

    with the accompanied of Kiki, we went there by tram.
    it took us about 30 mins to reach there.
    and we were so excited and looking forward on it..


    It was amazing when we walked into the hall..
    lots of stalls with lots of craft materials..
    lots of choices on embelishments and papers, adhesives and tools, etc..
    there were some 'make &  take' sessions and some 'live shows' as well..


    We were crazy when we found that Paper² which located in Mornington is there.
    we found that from the magazine and wish to visit them.
    but it is here, in the expo..
    and of course, we bought something from that stall..


    We started to choose what we want..
    and can't wait to spend money on it.. ^^
    we were there for about 4.5 hours

    on the way back home,
    I saw the Myer X'mas window display
    Their x'mas window display is famous and special
    every year, there will be people standing in front of the windows
    For me, I prefer their last year windows
    which in my memory the title is something like "How does Santa works"
    but this year is cute as well
    the title is "OLIVIA helps with Christmas"

    And the first Christmas tree that I saw in town


    Christmas is coming,
    how are we going to spend our Christmas this year?
    the trip to Sydney just called off
    due to the accommodation and money problem.
    I hope we can have the special one

  • Something between the period


    Finally, I have done with my 1st Scrapbook Album..
    But of course, it is quite happening during the process of Scrapbooking..
    Sorry again, I have to update my story together again..

    First of all,  some small gathering at home..

    get to know new friends - Alexis and Danee.
     
    and Kiki finally come to stay overnight at our home..
     


    And of course, my lovely fren - Ying's graduation ceremony..

    Sorry for being there for only a short while,
    both of us need to wake up early to work the next day morning,
    so we decided to attend before the ceremony rather than after..


    Congratulations again, Babe~!!
    Hope you really like the "Chicken Little"..^^
     



    Follow with the Daylesford and Mount Avoca Trip

    We went to a Vineyard in Mount Avoca
    where my Dear Dear loves their wine so much..
    They are well known with their Red and Whites..
    Spending hours there chit chatting and having their cheese platters..

    Daylesford - a famous Spa Town in Victoria.
    It takes around 90 minutes from Melbourne.
    And therefore, we went to the most famous hot spa in Hepburn Spa..
    we spent 2 hours in the hot spa by paying only $30. Worth it..


    You can see windmills     along the road,
    It is nice with the "Travel" Feel..

    If you do read my blog,
    you should realised that
    my recent blogs are mostly with photos rather than words

    This is because --
    i spent all my time scrapbooking
    spent last 2 weekends going out to buy some supplies..

    1st weekend, went out with Sian..
    spent 1.5 hours in Lincraft..
    and another 1 hour in Spotlight..

    2nd weekend, went out with Kiki..
    we spent around 1 hour in Spotlight,
    another 1 hour in Lincraft..
    0.5 hour in The Reject Shop..
    and photo printing for 20 mins..
    We planned to go to Arthur's on Swanston,
    but ended up, the shop was flooded..

    isn't it crazy?
    spent those money and time on that..
    but that's really worth to do so..^^

    Bare with me guys,
    i will post my works very soon..
    i am nearly done with my 1st album..
    don't forget to give some comments once i post later..

    For those scrapbookers who     are in Melbourne,
    these are nice places to get cheap and nice stuff..
